Due to possible conflicts of interest, we do not accept any unsolicited materials. Any material that is submitted without first submitting a query and without receiving and returning a Submission Agreement and invitation to submit shall not be opened, reviewed or returned unless return postage has been prepaid. If you are interested in submitting materials for our consideration, please follow the guidelines provided below for the protection of your Intellectual Property and ours.
1. Submit a Query Letter containing the following information:
a. Is your material for Film, Television, Television Movie of the Week, Music, Commercial Application, Infomercial, Internet Entertainment, News Program, Talk Show, Television Game Show, or other (please specify).
b. The state your idea, show or concept is in: idea, concept, preliminary development, scripted, non-scripted, fully developed, first round funding, needs funding, Pilot, Sizzle Reel, other (please specify)
c. If scripted, please tell us if your script has been professionally critiqued and if so, if a copy of the critique will accompany the submission.
d. Please identify the materials that you intend to submit to us: Script, Treatment, Log Line and Synopsis, Basic Outline, If scripted specify the total number of pages.
e. Is the material to be submitted, in whole or in part, protected by Copyright, WGA Registration, or other registration protections? If so, provide the Copyright or Registration Number and date of Copyright/Registration(s)
f. Provide your name, date of birth, mailing address, Email address, telephone number(s) and best day/time to contact you.
g. If the project has a co-writer/author, please provide the name, address and contact information for all parties with interest in your project.
DO NOT:
a. Provide us with the title or working title of your project. Often titles will give a great deal of insight into a particular project.
b. Provide us with any detailed information about your project, especially information that might be considered privileged or otherwise deemed to be part of the Intellectual Property. Detailed information will be provided pursuant to instructions received upon engagement of a Submission Agreement.
c. Submit materials prior to receiving, signing and returning our Submission Agreement which will outline your protections, our protections and the terms and conditions applicable to our review and consideration.
